Refund & Returns Policy

With the implementation of the EU Consumer rights directive, consumers in the UK now have 14 days for unwanted goods and 30 days for faulty/damaged goods to exercise their right of withdrawal from a distance contract or off-premises contract (including internet sales) without the need to justify and at no cost (except supplementary costs).

We want you to be delighted with every purchase from My light Shop Ltd and we hope our returns policy is easy and stress free. Returns policy

If you are not entirely happy with the goods that you have chosen you may return them to us within 30 days of receipt. We will be happy to offer you an exchange or, if you wish, a refund provided that the products are returned complete including fixings, in perfect condition, unused, uninstalled, and with the original packaging.

We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. Return of an item is at your own cost unless the item is faulty.

We will accept returns with no quibbles up to 30 days after receipt of the items (provided no installation and in perfect condition), this return will be at your cost.

We can offer a full credit note up to two months after delivery.

Any breakages/damages noticed upon delivery must be disclosed within 48 hours of receipt otherwise we will be unable to replace the damaged items.

We do not accept returns after two months unless faulty.

Please note that we are not able to offer a refund on delivery charges.

Please take care to fully inspect your items to ensure you are happy with them before disposing of packaging, as failure to do so will result in us being unable to refund you.

COST OF RETURNING ITEMS

We require you to be responsible for the cost of returning an item to us where you have changed your mind.

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be processed as quickly and efficiently as possible upon receiving the goods back from you. The refund will be made via your original method of payment. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/special offer that offer/discount will no longer apply and will be deducted from the original price.

DAMAGED DELIVERIES

We expect that the delivered items are inspected at the time of receipt – even if installation will not happen immediately.

We do our best to ensure that our products are wrapped sufficiently to survive their journey to you, but we do have to rely on third-party companies to deliver your goods to you and breakages unfortunately can happen from time to time.

If you receive a damaged item from us, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to inform us, quoting your order number and ideally with a photo of the damage. We will organise a collection and ship a replacement out to you immediately, subject to stock availability and on condition that you have the original packaging and not altered/adjusted/installed the product.
